November sees most of us getting ready for the hectic month before Christmas. Thinking about Christmas preparations and all the end of year events can be stressful. This month I chose to still make plans and prepare but balance that with catch ups with friends and a movie afternoon with the kids.
Here are some other November happy moments 🙂

The start of this month saw a butterfly migration all over South East QLD. There were hundreds of butterflies fluttering in the skies…it was amazing.

Fresh sweet raspberries…we ate punnets of them. It made me happy to see the kids choosing these raspberries for their afternoon tea. These raspberries were local as well so they were super fresh.

Spending an afternoon at this chilled out spot. I had been wanting a swim for a while and finally got my happy moment and swam in these beautiful waters.

Frangipanis flowers blooming – I walk past this tree most mornings and get to see the changes throughout the year…I love how frangipanis all of a sudden burst into floral beauty.

Friday night treat – eating dinner with a beach view. Nights like these always make me appreciate the natural beauty that I’m fortunate to have close by.

Having this energetic visitor pop by. Taking him out for a walk during the middle of a work day was a happy distraction!

Walking past this cute grevillea most mornings…I love watching the birds feed from the flowers and I find their flowers most fascinating.

This Southbank street performer made our afternoon – the levitating guy we called him. I stopped trying to work it out and just enjoyed the show! The kids (and I) were amazed.

We had a city adventure and visited the gallery of modern art. Pip and Pop’s rainbow bridge (that just made me smile) was an exhibition – a whimsical wonderland.

The kids called this a ‘Cinderella’ pumpkin….yep, it did look like a pumpkin that could be turned into a coach – I chuckle at kids perspectives often. We came home from a school working bee with these goodies.

Spending a relaxing Sunday morning with the kids at our fave cafe, eating cake for breaky and soaking up the serenity.
How about you? What made you happy in November – Please feel free to share in the comments below.
What made me happy today ? Sitting with several cups of tea and our four rescue dogs on the porch, listening to the birds and enjouing the morning sun. Couldn’t be topped…
