Here are some tips from Haws to maintain the copper cans.
‘In order to maintain the cans original colour and shine it is necessary to polish it with a proprietary polish. This can is not lacquered and will therefore accept polish easily. Alternatively it can be left t gradually dull down and eventually oxidise to a deep green colour.’
