I like this spade, but don’t love it. I miss the flat lip (perpendicular to the spade blade) on many spades that assists with pushing the spade into the soil with your foot. This means that I have to have good thick sole work shoes to push agaist the spade edge when digging. This is why I am giving it 4/5 stars.

In terms of durability this puppy looks like it will outlive me. Heaven forbit someone ever wacks me in the head with it!!! It is really really solid.
