Description
Start gardening earlier in the season and grow greens year-round with the Aerated Poly Easy Tunnel. This UV-stabilized 150-micron heavy-duty poly tunnel insulates and protects plants, heating up naturally with the sun, while remaining ventilated through large holes. Unlike with the mesh tunnels, pollinating insects can still make their way inside these aerated tunnels.
With drawstring ends and an accordion construction, the Aerated Poly Tunnel is easy to set up and take down for flat storage, off-season. Galvanized, rust-proof steel hoops keep the tunnel upright. In the garden.
Dimensions are 60cm wide, 45cm tall, and 300cm long.

Perhaps I didn’t peg it down well enough but instead of protecting plants it was the instrument of destruction during Adelaides wild weather. Still it was extreme and I haven’t had a further chance to evaluate.

brought it for my dad for his birthday, as he loves his gardening and always has bits of shade cloths around to stop bugs and frost getting to his plants, thought this would look heaps better, he has only just put it in but so far thinks its a great product, so im buying him more for the other seasons as well, i think his plants are even looking a lot happier, thanks gardenware for a great product.

Hi all,
I bought 4 of them to protect young bamboo from the frost. Great stuff – holes let rains through but also allow to avoid problems with wind. There were complaints about other types of these tunnels, that wind easily rips them out of the ground. Not with these ones it doesn’t thanks to the holes. And we had couple of big storms here. Some wishes to the manufacturer – if the could make shorter length, would’ve been great. It will allow people to use them above raised beds. Besides not too many people now have huge backyards. Second – the price. I suppose, since it’s the only product of its type on the market, they can dictate. Time will show if the tunnels will last to justify the price.

The tunnel increased the leaf growth compared to lettuce planted beside it in the same garden bed. The protection from wind and frosty weather was increased and probably the heat inside the tunnel. I needed to monitor the moisture in the soil closely as the plants missed out on the showers of rain. The tunnel also had another advantage of keeping the escaped chook and 7 scratching chickens off the plants in the tunnel.
A great product which I would buy more of for each garden bed, if they were not so expensive.

this has really helped me out in the vegetable patch – providing warmth for my lettuces and young seedlings also wind protection –
it is easy to set up and fold away for storage

This was fabulous for getting my lettuces started early. In a humid climate I think this would be one of the best choices for veges. I would choose this product over the non aerated poly tunnels available. I did find I needed to take it off, to get a really decent water to my plants. Also when using fish fertilizers etc your product can be wasted if you don’t remove the tunnel house as it just sits on the plastic with not enough going to the plant. Overall an excellent product that I would consider buying more of if they were not so expensive.
