May. A family holiday saw us visiting Thailand. The kids and I spent our days swimming, building sand castles and eating yummy Thai food. We were happy to come back home not that we didn’t love Thailand. For me holidays are the best when you can relax and have fun in the place you are visiting, then you are ready to come home and appreciate and be happy in the place where you live.
Here are some snapshots of what made me happy this month 🙂

A baby cucumber. Seeing any plant bear fruit or veggies makes me smile. It comes down to me feeling grateful that I’m able to enjoy fresh veggies straight from the garden.

Starfruit are a happy fruit to me. The colour and shape says it all.

Mother’s Day Pots from the kids.

My morning walks. Being greeted by nature with a glorious sunrise, happy way to start the day.

A Thailand treat – fresh coconuts….I love fresh coconut. The last time I had a fresh coconut was years ago so I made the most of my trip and had at least a coconut a day.

Finding this pot of Aloe Vera was a happy moment. The kids were a touch sunburnt and I wished there was Aloe about. That afternoon, I saw a pot in front of what would become our fave eating place. Noi, the owner kindly let me take as much aloe leaves as I needed.

Here is Noi with two of my girls. Her kind heart and happy nature made us feel welcome. We played lots of jenga and ate loads of yummy food at her place.

Flowers from my little one. My two youngest have a habit of bringing me flower gifts. It is a sweet moment when they say ‘I bought these for you Mummy’

This view = happy 🙂

Happy afternoons watching the sunset while the kids played on the beach.

Massive bunch of bananas over hanging a fence.

Pots of desert roses were all throughout the gardens of where we were staying. These desert roses with their pretty flowers and gnarly roots create a zen type atmosphere for me.

Frangipanis are one of my fave flowers. They were still in bloom in Thailand…yay!

Hi Natalie, You always take such beautiful photos!!! Thanks for sharing them! Do you mind my asking what type of camera you have, and what model?
Hi Anne
Thanks 🙂
I take my photos either on my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy or my camera which is a Canon EOS 1100D…most of this photos in the post were taken on my phone.
I forgot my Canon camera when we went to Thailand!
Have an awesome day
