The Gympie Music Muster is held up the road from our house in August. This event is a huge fundraiser for our local primary school and it is always great to see our community support our school by volunteering to work shifts at the muster. It makes me happy that I live in an awesome little town and that my kids go to a fantastic little school.
Here are some other August happy moments 🙂

Smiles are the universal language. I was in Flores, Indonesia for a week with my little one. She would play with all the local kids – the language barrier wasn’t an issue not when loads of smiling, laughter and playing games are involved.

Staying at a NGO that was educating and offering solutions around waste management in Flores. It was interesting learning about this project. I hope to come back to volunteer at this NGO.

Being greeted by these giant sunflowers at the kid’s school. Sunflowers are a happy flower to me – I can’t help but smile when I see them.

Sunday bush walking with the kids. Getting those endorphins active, enjoying the fresh air and creating happy family memories. Happy that this magical spot is five minutes up the road from me.

The vibrant colours of nasturtium flowers.

The view from the top of Mount Coolum. Everyone is happy when they reach the top of here…not only for the view but because you can finally sit and take a break 🙂

Wrapping up the weekend with a beach walk. I love Queensland winters!

I finally have found a way to fill the hole that was once a huge pool.Arond the circumference I’m boxing road base as a foundation on which granite rock will create a feature surrounding wall.Raised veggie beds.At the top of the wallI propose having a cascading plant life. Whilst my front garden is flourishing with marigolds and nasturtium in a multitude of different colours all self sown.
Wow Richard – that sounds amazing 🙂
